The second edition
From the Gulf to Italian titles.
On Saturday, 19 October, Junior, Under 23 and Senior athletes competed for the Italian Ocean Racing titles alongside the international Masters event. The main fifteen-kilometre course linked the Bay of Silence with Chiavari and could be reversed according to wind and sea conditions.
On Sunday, 20 October, the Bay of Fables became the racecourse for the younger categories. A course of approximately five hundred metres and surfskis supplied by the Federation introduced Cadet athletes to the discipline.
The edition strengthened Sestri Levante’s place on the national calendar, combining elite competition, youth development and promotion of the Gulf of Tigullio.
