The challenge grows: Italian titles and international racing

The Tigullio Ocean Racing Challenge returns to Sestri Levante and raises the level of competition. On Saturday 19 October, Junior, Under 23 and Senior athletes will race for the Italian Ocean Racing titles in SS1 and OC1, alongside the international Masters race and the SS2 and OC2 events.

The main course covers fifteen kilometres from the Bay of Silence to Chiavari. Its direction may be reversed according to wind and sea conditions, following the downwind nature of the discipline.

A Sunday for young paddlers

On Sunday 20 October, the Bay of Fables will welcome the Allievi and Cadetti age groups on a circuit of around five hundred metres. Surfskis provided by the Federation will allow young athletes to experience Ocean Racing on a compact course visible from the beach.

The second edition brings national competition, international racing and youth development together in one weekend on the water.
